3 males, 1 female, lots of racing around and fighting. Pretty crazy scene. I have always been a fool for that bright blue bill of a breeding plumage male ruddy duck. I guess she probably is too!

Definitely singing and displaying on his territory. Heard so many of them this day, near Sardine Lake.

The Golden-crowned Kinglet is named from the Latin word rex and Greek word satrapes meaning a king wearing a golden crown.
