We had never seen them like this before. In the fall they are white, with maybe a little red left on the tummy. So cool to see them so close in the harbor in breeding plumage.

I have always loved the colors of the buildings reflected in the water at this pier. I have shot many photos of just the water before, hanging out in the boat prior to going out on a pelagic. This felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity.
