Sunnyvale
We made our annual trek to see the Evening Grosbeaks gorging on Chinese Pistache berries, on Mango Ave. yesterday. What a beautiful day! What an amazing feast for the eyes! Pink berry trees against a blue sky, with the yellow Evening Grosbeaks, blue and red Western Bluebirds, Yellow-rumped Warblers, and then out of nowhere pops up one of my favorite birds, the Purple Finch! And he matched the berries perfectly in color.
I am still reeling from the beauty of the scene. January in California really rocks.
