Back-lit., little detail
But that was never the point of the shot

Obsession with high detail is all well and good
But that doesn't in itself produce and interesting shot

Capturing 'the moment' IMO is the key to taking a memorable photograph
And that surely is what we're all striving for?

Winter time can be a feast for owl shots
& no complaints they are beautiful animals

Photographically though you end up with many many shots that are more or less the same

So it gets to a point where you're looking for something different...
Hopefully these two are that something different
