Port of Nigg, Cromarty Firth, Scotland.

Initially developed as a fabrication yard during the oil boom of the 1970s, the site has now moved into renewables producing towers for wind turbines.

Oasis Leisure Centre, Swindon

Opening in 1976 the Swindon Oasis was built as a sports and leisure facility for families to have fun together, rather than strictly a facility for competitive sports training. A free-form pool with wave machine and water slides sit beneath a 45 metre perspex glazed aluminium dome. Often the dome is compared to looking like a flying saucer. The dome is joined to other indoor sports facilities by a narrower part of the building containing the entrance hall, restaurant and changing rooms.

In autumn 2020 following the lifting of some Covid lockdown restrictions it was announced that the Oasis would not be reopening. Plans have been drawn up the rebuild the leisure centre, but there is considerable opposition to this, in a effort to stop potential demolition an application has been to Historic England to have the building listed (February 2021). The final decision on Listing comes from the government Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as of late September 2021 they've not yet come to a decision.

Since Closure the building has seen increasing levels of vandalism both inside and out, photographs taken by urban explorers show the pool areas to be in poor condition.

The Iron Age Hill fort and Norman Motte castle cover the top of Herefordshire Beacon on the Malvern Hills.

I along with around 30 other people spread around the hill were up early watching the sunrise. There was little wind and i had difficulty keeping the camera in the sky.
