this is the shot i almost lost.
it was a Good Friday morning. We were out early to take some sunrise photos at the tree of life when we passed by this area. i asked Jayson to stop over and take a few shots with me. We were enjoying the beautiful morning with the chirping birds and cool mood of the greenery when out of the blue, a police patrol vehicle called our attention and told us to go inside thier car. i knew right there and then that we were shooting in a restricted area and they took us to the police station for questioning. it was the first time i've ever been actually apprehended for taking pictures. i was more worried about losing my equipments than being in jail.
So after so many questions about what we do and where we live and work, we finally convinced them that we are just plain enthusiasts and still learning so much about photography. we had to delete all of our shots in front of them and felt relieved after leaving the officers.
it was a beautiful morning indeed.

A moment caught in time with you,
One of just a precious few.
Across the sea, the setting sun -
Slipping unto oblivion.
Coming to us in gold array,
Atop the waves reflection rolled away.
Across the horizon in grand display,
We watched it softly sink to yesterday.
You were an angel in my eyes,
Fallen to me from the skies.
Looking in your eyes, lost in the gleam,
I felt like a man touching a dream.
You fulfilled every desire and need,
With a touch that made my soul bleed.
Oh, how I loved holding you close to me,
But to hold your love I had to set you free.

In brilliant colors, painting the skies.
