Bicycles quietly coast by
Such are the streets of Haarlem
On a sunny summer day.

Taken in Haarlem, a 14th century town not far from Amsterdam. It is where the US 'Harlem' got its name when New York was settled as the Dutch colony "New Amsterdam."

I’m not a fan of blue-eyed dogs. Humans....yep, but not dogs. Makes an otherwise cute breed seem a little bit “other worldly.” OK, like aliens you know? A bit creepy. But otherwise a beautiful dog. Needs dark eyes though.

Found this small wine glass in the china closet that has a ‘fractured glass’ treatment of some sort. I don’t know how this is done but it looks awesome and gives you a sense that it will simply break in your hand if you use it spilling that precious elixir. I played around with it a bit to see how to present it to stay within the size limits. Submittal for the Aug 24,2020 Macro Monday’s theme of “Glass.”
