Went up with Tasha, her first time in the mountains, and my first snow hike since my leg injury. Crampons were crucial as most of the slopes were a layer of fine grain snow over ice. Kicking in steps was not real easy, and had to rely on the front points of crampons to move up in some areas. With temps at 15, and 7 at the summit, lots of crazy ice formations were present, Good day with a typical stop at the Mt. Si Pub on the way back home.
