These clouds came from out of nowhere and they left as quickly as they came. I have not seen cloud like that before so I was expecting aliens to beam these ships up from the water :) I have not changed the colors so it is not a black and white picture. Picture nr. 2

An old lighthouse near Vík in Mýrdal, in the south part of Iceland. This is by far my most popular photo. It has over 2300 views and 75 people call it their favorites. Thanks everyone for you nice comments and faves. I appreciate it :)

This church in Bolungarvík is 15 km from my home town. To get to Bolungarvík people have to drive around this mountain that is in the background. It was a dangerous road when I was young so people did not go there unless they had to. It is still considered dangerous so they are thinking about making a tunnel thought the mountain.
My brother Oddur took a beautiful picture of Bolungarvík from that mountain.

This dog has never been on dry land. We tried once to take him to shore when we were in Canary Island with the ship for it usual repair but the dog was so afraid that we could not move him.
Edit in November 2007.
We are in Canary Island now with our ship in dry dock for repair. We were told to get rid of Kolur when we would get here, but Kolur is still with us. We could say that this beautiful dog is fighting for his life without knowing about it. I am sure as long as Kolur keeps quiet and calm he wont get that much noticed, so he might have a chance to go with us to sea again :)

Kolur is still with us :) He must have nine lives like a cat because the veterinarian was called a few times to pick him up while we were in dry dock but he never shoved up :)
