This is the real "green mamba". Often mixed up with the dendroaspis angusticeps, the leafgreen mamba, which is indeed much "greener".
The D. viridis is not as venomous as the black mamba but has a stronger venom as the D. angusticeps. Anyway, every untreated mamba bite is usually absolutely lethal.
