My first time shooting up at the Old Head beach was greeted with an amazing sunrise. In fact it was one of the better sunrises that I had seen in some time. Hard to believe that only 3 hours later than when this image was captured, a storm had rolled in from the Wild Atlantic.
This beach is located within Clew Bay, County Mayo, Ireland. It is only a few minutes down the road when heading from Louisburgh to Westport. This is just one of the many fantastic areas of this shoreline to shoot and it is a definitely an area to check out if exploring Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.

A lovely rock pool at low tide reflects the last light of the day at Devlin. A nice isolated beach on the County Mayo coast. Another great spot to photograph at sunset if visiting or touring the Wild Atlantic Way.

This panoramic image of the Pine Island located at Derryclare Lough near Connemara in County Galway, Ireland consists of 9 individual vertical orientated RAW captures that were stitched together and processed using Adobe Lightroom.
Captured on a Canon 6D with a Canon 16-35mm ƒ/4 lens with a 5 Stop Graduated ND Filter from NiSi Filters.

This image features a lovely sunset bottom-lighting the clouds above Lough NaFooey in County Mayo, Ireland with the surface water of the lough also catching some lovely reflected light and colour from the sky.
Captured using a Canon 6D and a Canon 70-200mm ƒ/4 lens with the NiSi V5 Pro Filter Holder, a NiSi 5 Stop Graduated ND filter and a Lee 0.9 ND Filter.

An image captured in 2018 from the Old Head beach along the Wild Atlantic Way route in County Mayo, Ireland.
That morning was to be last photo shoot of a 7 day trip up in that region and this great sunrise proved to be best light that I witnessed for the duration of those 7 days.
