A new image from what was a stunning morning down within the Killarney National Park several weeks ago. The conditions were exactly what I always hope for when visiting this stunning location. No wind, lovely reflections, nice clouds and some mist!

Was blessed to capture such an amazing sunset down within the Killarney National Park recently. I frequent this park quite often but it is rare that I get to capture such amazing colours while I am down there so I was very happy with this one!

This astro image features a well known and often photographed foreground interest at Lough Leane in Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland known locally as "The Pins" along with the always impressive Milky Way above in the night sky. Both the Pins and the Milky Way are pointing towards the Shehy, Purple and Tomies Mountains.
7 individual frames (20 seconds, ƒ/.28, ISO 12,800) were captured using a Canon 6D with a Samyang 14mm ƒ/2.8 lens, processed in Adobe Lightroom and stacked together using Starry Landscape Stacker for noise reduction purposes and star alignment.

This image was captured at sunrise down at Looscaunagh Lough which is located near the Killarney National Park in County Kerry, Ireland.
5 individual RAW files were captured, processed and then stitched together within Adobe Lightroom in order to form this stitched panoramic.
Shot using a Canon 6D with a Canon 16-35mm ƒ/4 lens on a Rollei Rock Solid Alpha Tripod.
A NiSi V5 Pro Holder was used with a NiSi 5 Stop and a 3 Stop Graduated ND Filters in order to control the exposure levels in the sky and a LEE 0.9 ND Filter was used to lengthen the exposure time as well as add a hint of warmth across the scene.
