This abstract image was captured down at the Lee Fields in County Cork, Ireland during the magical twilight moments shortly after sunset where the remaining cool blue tones of the fading sky starts to blend with the warmer orange tones of the artificial street lights.

Image was taken at time where the Lee Fields were flooded on account of heavy rainfall during the months of December 2015 and early January 2016.

Normally there is a walkable footpath at bottom of this frame but due to the floodwater it had been completely submerged, which actually allowed for some lovely reflected light.

This image features the Cork County Hall which is located on the Carrigrohane Straight Road that roads parallel to the Lee Fields in County Cork, Ireland.

Recent flooding of the Lee Fields prompted for sandbags to be lined up outside the building as a defence for the oncoming flood waters.
