A little experiment yesterday to see if panoramas can be done without a tripod. The answer is yes. This was made from 6 exposures hand held in portrait format. And Photoshop's marvelous content aware fill even coped with the the flag pole, with a little help from the transform tool.
The main building is one of Sheffield's two cathedrals. This is the Catholic one.

For those interested (and I am not) this very building is where Sheffield United Football Club was founded. Apparently they came to an arrangement with Sheffeild Cricket Club to use the same patch of land to kick a bag of wind about.
