Reddish egret: "Seeing Santa flying across the sky in a sleigh driven by a group of wingless reindeer!"

Here's the real story behind the image. This Reddish egret was preening and chilling on a very small grassy knoll in this small marsh. A Great egret began to approach eyeing his perch. This is the Reddish egret's response just moments before he moved off his prime perch without any hostilities. The Great egret took his place. Life goes on.
