Georgia. 4/15/2021.
The light was in and out of the clouds and I didn't adjust my settings quick enough hence a bit of noise in large and a tad overexposed in the yellows and some of the whites but I'll take it.
Easy to post-process out the noise but I usually like to post with my settings as that has been a learning tool for me over the years and I always appreciate seeing your settings too yet I understand why some don't like to share them and it's all good!

Georgia. 4/13/2021.
I had fun a few days this week working with wild native Azalea perches. We are fortunate to have them here. The Redbuds are finished in my area and I am grateful we had them blooming a bit longer this Spring. I do have a few more species on Redbud from this Spring I'd like to share in the future. Thanks as always for the visit and those comments.

Prairie Warbler.
4/1/2021 the date of this image was a very cold morning here in Georgia and very few of this species had yet to arrive. In fact this bird wasn't singing at all with temperatures hovering around the lower 30's. Today just 5 days later temperatures are in the 70's and this species has arrived in numbers. From one stationary spot we had 4 singing and there was territorial fighting going on.
It is amazing how fast things change during Spring migration.

Yellow-throated Warbler. Georgia. 3/26/2021.
These guys are arriving on breeding grounds during the final week of March in my area. We just got a cold blast from the North (this was taken on a much warmer day) and yesterday 4/2 there was not much singing going on but next week with warmer temps and more arrivals-- oh my there wil be a concert!! Migration may be paused to a trickle due to weather but the floodgates will be opening soon. Alas, the redbuds are on the way out of their glorious bloom here. I just noticed traces of that now near omnipresent pine pollen on the bird's beak!
