This was taken after the sun had set, and I was just left with the twilight afterglow. Over the millennia, chunks of rock fall off these distinctive formations, then end up being churned into sphere-like objects by the waves you can see rolling in relentlessly. It's a fascinating place, and I could never get tired of shooting here.

I came here mid-morning just to find the Dragon's Head so I could shoot it that evening for sunset. After loading up the Willy Weather tide charts I realised that it would be unsuitable for evening shooting due to high tide. I grabbed my camera gear and hung around long enough for the tide to start coming in so that I could get some shots of the water flowing over the rocks. I'm glad I stuck around, as I am happy with what I ended up with. I also met some lovely people and made a new friend, which is always nice when you're out shooting. You can just see "Lizard Head Rock" on the beach in the background.
