Yesterday I climbed down into this cave during low tide with Wayne and Grumpton.
It was much more difficult than my last visit many years ago. How DARE my body wither and decay!
Just as I framed up this shot, Wayne declared he'd had enough of watching the waves crash into the cave - ''it's time to go Gavin''.
Even his royal pugnaciousness was donning his camera bag and I didn't want to be the last man up the rope.
So off we climbed back up that slimy cliff face you can see in the distance.
There's a fine line between exhilaration and fear. I believe we were straddling that line for the entire hour of our adrenaline infused visit.
The Tsunami warning siren might have had something to do with our state of alertness.
Thanks for looking
Gavin
