Frozen Pond Weed
Narrow pondweed (Elodea nuttallii), frozen in the ice of Boegta Angka, Baikal/ Russia. The round dot of snow was good-natured.

From our last trip to Scotland. Descending after a beautiful walk to the caves along river Traligill, near Ichnadamph. Loch Assynt in the far distant. It's such pleasure to hike in this landscape.
Shot with my small Leica M10-P and Elmarit-M 24mm f/2.8, (I bought the last one recently as an occasion, with a loose front element, but it didn't affect the pictures yet). Taken from my Gitzo GT1541T with RRS B240-LR. So, a marvelous small and lightweight combi, splendid for long hikes. Direct from the camera as a DNG format/no processing, except for the aspect ratio.
