Went out to get a shot of the full moon and the 1st shot i got the wind blew the fronds of a palm tree into the shot, was about to delete it and thought No, I like the look of it.

My 1st encounter with this very wide spread species of Peacock spider- found from the east coast to the west coast.
It has similar patterns to a M.splendens but not the bright colours. This spider was found between Albany and Perth W.A.
Canon MPE 65mm and 5DII.
