- Thanks Canadavey!! that most definitely IS a meteor! I didn't spot it in the shots and in checking the previous and next frames it doesn't show up there so it's not a plane. It's not coming from the right direction to be a Perseid though, so it may be a random fragment or could also be an iridium flash, but I don't think so. Thanks for pointing it out!

Some night shots while trying to capture the Perseid meteor shower. Didn't manage to capture any meteors on film, but did get some nice early night star shots and saw about 30 with our eyes as we took the pictures
