Most of my silver jewlery I sold when I was going through a bad phase just a few rare items remains.
I have a huge lot of bone Agjori beads I stopped wearing they are very powerful a form of catharsis for my restless soul when I bought abd redesigned them with gemstones.

Me and My World
I became a photographer accidentally.. There was no method to my madness I was an alcoholic and was being treated for the same the mind doctor asked me to take up a hobby that would replace my alcoholism.
I bpught a camera and went to shoot Moharam at Dongri.. I thought I would catch up on my faith through the camera.
I had distance myself from all religiosity and was held like a genie in a bottle of booze.
However I aimed to be a hobbyist photographer I had worked at Mudra so I had seen great masters at work.. But I was there only as a coordinator and stylist for the Vimal Kabir Bedi campaign.
I met Mr Shreekanth Malushte took up his photography course years back at Dadar.
And thus began my journey as a shooter I had given up Old Monk completely.
Mr Malushte enrolled me as a life member PSI camera club.
Here I met my other two Gurus late BW Jatkarji and late KG Maheshwariji.
And also joined NPPA under late Guru Anil Bhartiyaji.
But my digital gurus were photographers at Buzznet later Flickr.
Than I met @glennlosack he changed my vision he introduced me to beggars.. I met Marc De Clercq got into Hijras and Sufism.
Met @laurent_salesse got into Khamakhya.
Met @boazimages and @fotravelphoto got into videos..
I owe my photography to all these friends they molded me and made me what I am as a photographer.
I will not forget Late Mr PC Little we was my mentor.
And last but not the least @vinayparelkar

EarCleaners
This was shot many years back at my fashion studio at 29 road Bandra.
I was fascinated by EarCleaners..
It was later that I began documenting the EarCleaners of Bandra Talao as they were being evicted from there and I wanted their voice their pain to reach our MLA s ears.
They have been cleaning ears at the Talao for last 40 years.
The EarCleaner videos on my YouTube channel are the most viewed playlist.
They are from Karnataka farmers that became Earcleaners to supplement their income.

Documenting the Friday Vagri flea market at Kamatipura.
I was collecting old cameras flash twin reflex caneras old photography rare books booklets I had over 247 old camera that I sold for peanuts as I was going through a bad phase.
I used to come every Friday late 80 s to Kamatipura flea market and than walk down to Chor Bazar.
I still have rare old photography books film filters that I bought from Bora Bazar.
I have negatives slides DVDs prints and wife wishes I would dump them into the sea.
After my death perhaps.

Me and my World..
Shooting #Shiasm in Mumbai
I stopped shooting Moharam in Mumbai since 2012.. Started shooting Moharam in other metro cities like Lucknow Kolkatta Hyderabad Chennai Delhi HussainTekriJaorah Mehmoodabad.
However after my recent heart attack low immunity and diabetes I was advised by my cardiologist and endocrinologist to avoid crowds.
I have not documented Moharam last two years.
A very dear friend wanted to sponsor my walk from Najaf to Karbala last 2 years but I politely refused.
He helped me financially during my surgery.
I am indebted to him.
My Faith is scripted in blood even my daggers that I used for my Kamazani were blessed at the Brahma temple Pushkar.
