We are today in the holy month of Ramzan you hardly see these old beggar faces.
The lucky ones left for their hometown before the pandemic.
I think of Majid a beggar friend with elephantisis he used to bathe in the sweet waters at Bandra Bandstand and beg at Mount Mary.
I have not been to Mount Mary nor Bandstand.
My beat is Bandra Bazar Road where I stay.

I dont have wheels so my street stories are limited to my side of Bandra.

This Ramzan overshadowed by a virus will remain unforgettable for many years to come..
A virus that has given a meaning to war and warfare.. Bombs fighter jetd tanks are passe..
God forbid the new world and the warlords..
Stay safe.. Do cobstructive work at home instead of just readibg books pkaying online games help clean the house the utensils etc.
Make the women in the house feel that they are not alone..

Best time to learn cooking baking etc..

We visit Allwyn to give him support as he recently lost both his brothers one after another within a week both Nobert and Jude were suffering from a terminal ailment.
Allwyn has become a loner stopped using Facebook WhatsUp.
We stand by him try to encourage him I visit him every morning.. He is my closest East Indian friend.
I hope he gets the strength to bear this irreparable loss and void.
