This evening I left home to shoot the Juloos e Haidery procession , as this event page at Facebook was created by Ali Asghar from Mumbra and he had invited me .

So I think I should give him credit as Facebook Twitter are two very powerful tools that are the hope of humanity if used positively and I say this because I am a blogger and a blog holistically touches and heals the soul of Man.
I took a cab reached Kesar Bagh at 4pm met Mr Safdar Karmali Saab, and a lot of Shia faces that I see mostly during Moharam,
My wife was not very keen on my shooting this event simply because I had arrived two days back from Ajmer I had climbed Taragad barefeet through the jungle path and because I dont wear slippers my feet were in very bad shape pus infested , though healed were still sensitive to pain and as I had got wet on arrival from Ajmer I was suffering from a viral attack of cold cough and weakness.
However I shot the Juloos e Haidery because I knew media Wahabbi influenced hardly touches Shia events so as a Shia I dont miss out on such eventful memorable occasions,,and cover it at Flickr.com and link it via Facebook and Twitter...
I had covered the Bahrain protest too at Azad Maidan.
There was poetry in the hall a bit of spiritual discourse as tribute in honor of Imam Alis birthday that we celebrate as 13 Rajab..and mind you I am not a text loving photo journalist, so once the procession moved on to the streets I followed it , from Hazrat Abbas Dargah, to Zainabia to Yakub Gully and via JJ to its ending point at Moghul Masjid.
This julooss was supported by erstwhile Shia Maulanas local Shia leaders and poets and the Shia youth..men women and children too..
I collapsed twice at Imamwada and at Yakub Gully because the heat and the medicines I had taken played havoc on my weakness, I did not not hang out rushed home .
As there was a ladies function at home I had to wait before I could hit the computer , unfortunately when I did I found late in the night my card reader had got corrupted , however thanks to my son Asif I got it copied and through an external drive I am now uploading this lot at Flickr.com as a batch.
And I wish all of you a Very Happy Wiladat ..e Ameerul Mommineen Ali Ibn e Talib Mubarak
