This is my new set on Fickr , every year I shoot the various pandals in and around Bandra, I dont have wheels to go Ganesha Pandal hopping so I make do with pictures in and around my area where I stay,

I promote Peace and Humanity through Hope and Hindutva which is nothing but living in peace with ones neighbors.

Hinduism is the ethos of the culture I was born in as an Indian Muslim of Shia descent.
I am proud of my culture as I am proud of my parentage and my Shia ancestry.

My pictures are story board of your faith and my own interwoven as a tapestry of tolerance and mutual coexistence.

I am manacled to my fate and a lot of recurring bad luck this Idd was the darkest in my life but I will overcome , I cannot bury my neck in dirt and hide away my business or personal problems like the lucky ostrich.

If I did not blog I would die... is the vicious karmic whirlpool I am caught in with a slender hope as spectral light at the end of the tunnel.

A lot of friends have helped me but among the political leaderless of Bandra only Advocate Ashish Shelar bailed me out recently such is this man of stature , unfortunately I cant say the same thing about our so called Muslim leaders in my area who sell out their soul to the poor at least they get the votes at bargain price.

I vote for progress and dont sell myself to anyone.


And my pictures are the story of my pain my surroundings and my angst as a poet blogger and street side photographer .

I dont sell my stories my text or my pictures you get them free on the roads of despair and remorse.

And I have kept much of the stuff I shot on hold this is 21 Ramzan, Chand Rat , Dahi Handi Vartak nagar..

My lap top borrowed from my son as my computer crashed recently cannot be repaired never rests

And my blogs are not about promoting my business or for my self glorification my poems are my my inner struggle perhaps a bit opinionated but who is int..And I dont have to apologize to sanctimonious political patriots, like Salman Khan was made to do for emotional outbursts interpreted out of context..

15000 people view my blogs at Flickr daily though my Flickr Indi Blogge rank is 35 as a blogger lowest is bad , and my grand daughter Marziya Shakirs website Indi blogger rank is 78 .. highest is best.

And this post is dedicated to my two and a half year grand daughter Marziya Shakir , enthusiastic street photographer who shoots beggars on a Nikon D 80 camera and this is also dedicated to Advocate Ashish Shelar my neighbor and family friend.
