This workshop which is facilitated by the founder of the famous Pillai's School of Photography focuses on the latest pedagogy to inspire children to use their cameras - any, from professional ones to even cell-phone cameras - as an aide to their studies, and to develop an artistic life-long creative activity.
Objective: To procure and hone photography skills so as to encourage the art of photography as a hobby.
I was invited by Mr Mukesh Parpiani to model for the aspiring students of Prof PKM Pillai at the NCPA at 3 pm today, I took a cab and reached just in time to shoot Prof Pillai giving a lecture to his students .. they were not aware I was shooting them ..
While I modeled for the kids Mr Mukesh Parpiani shot me too , .. I am now become the model for young photographers , though I gave them a lot of pep talk, encouraged them to be humble and to be proud that they have a versatile Guru like Prof PKM Pillai..
I told them , that like them my grand children too were good with the camera Marziya Shakir 5 year old shoots on the Canon 7 D and Nerjis Asif Shakir 22 month old shoots on the Canon 60 D .. My 18 month old grand daughter Zinnia Fatima too can handle the camera ... but not as efficiently as Marziya and Nerjis .
Photography is a holistic science that heals through images .. it pre- empts universal peace hope harmony.
This is my new set as tribute to both Prof PKM Pillai and Mr Mukesh Parpiani.
