My wife chose Xmas day to spread the message of Peace Hope Humanity through Imam Hussain , our house majlis recited by Maulana Hasnain Kararvi , had a lot of our friends well wishers relatives arriving at her house that was the venue of the ladies majlis and the gents majlis at Tehseen and Hadi Mukadams house .
Marziya Shakir Nerjis Asif Shakir and Zaira Saif Shakir held fort and I shot them before the majlis began , the topic was Karbala and the significance of the message of Hussain in modern times on our youth .. the dominance of an indomitable spirit of Bibi Zainab in the court of Yazid..
And accursed Yazid who headed the Caliphate the custodian of Islam of that time was the worst role model a bad influence a drunkard a man besotted by power who was hell bent on destroying the message and goodwill of our Holy Prophet and it was Hussain who with ultimate sacrifice changed all this and gave his blood to release Islam from the throes of a deathly vice of Yazidiyat.
So it is aptly said by Khwajah Garib Nawaz Moinuddin Chishti Sabri ..
Shah ast Hussain, Badshah ast Hussain
Deen ast Hussain, Deen Panah ast Hussain
Sardad na dad dast, dar dast-e-yazeed,
Haqaa key binaey La ila ast Hussain
Loosely translated
Ruler is Hussain, Emperor is Hussain,
Faith is Hussain , guardian of faith is Hussain .
Offered his head and not the hand to Yazid.
Truly, the mirror of faith is Hussain
