I shot these pictures yesterday 22 July the owner of Rolex saloon Bandra Bazar Road came himself to remove her hair, because he is a religious Sunni Moslem with a beard out of respect to his religiosity I did not include him in my frame.
He was very careful laid Nerjis Asif Shakir on his lap like his own grand child and began removing her hair with a razor, but he also insisted that my wife wet her finger with honey and apply it on Nerjis Asif Shakis gums..
Mind you Nerjis Asif Shakir is going crazy as it is with the flash going of on her face from the first day of her life on this planet that is being documented by me.. Nerjis Asif Shakir is a very cyber savvy child she was launched the day I began my tryst with Google+

Nerjis Asif Shakir was born on 17 July her fathers birthday and Shabbarat and on the eve of Wiladat e Imam e Zamana in keeping with her Shia heritage.. and her hair is being cut by a Sunni gentleman..
And her Godfather is an American Jew from Manhattan New York Dr Glenn Losack MD ,celebrity photo guru of her sister Marziya Shakir 3 1/2 year old youngest street photographer in the world.
When Marziya was born Dr Glenn Losack blessed her with a Nikon D 80 and as he could not make it to Mumbai I blessed Nerjis Asif Shakir with his camera too.
This is a new set nestled in her Nerjis Asif Shakir set.. and this evening 23 July was her Akika I went to the butcher Ebu Bhai another kind Sunni friend of our family who has his butchery at Noorani Lane and cut the neck of the goat my self, it is called salla the first cut.. the goat was young but huge and I carried the meat home which will be distributed among the poor at the Mosque.
So Nerjis Asif Shakir starts her life in the Shakir household with a bang..and keeps me honed to my camera...
