The 17th century Morley Library in Winchester Cathedral houses more than 2000 books. Bequeathed by George Morley, Bishop of Winchester (1598? -1684), the Library contains texts on a diverse range of subjects, including theology, history, geography, natural science, politics and literature.
Photography is not allowed inside the library, but we were more than happy when the attendant allowed us to take a photo from the doorway.

It's more than cold here at present with night time temps down to about -4c and some parts not getting above freezing during the day. This was taken on our way to visit Clive's brother today, just a quick snap from the car window as there was nowhere to pull off the road.

I think this is the first bird watch I've done since before Covid hit and I was totally out of practice with capturing the little birds - they flit in and out so quickly. The overcast day didn't help however this nuthatch finally gave me a few opportunities but I would still like it to be sharper.
