Week 1 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and the start of my 14th year in the group.
Here is Tasku, this afternoon, still calm after her 'chill pills' that she had before her visit to the vet earlier in the day. She was getting increasingly panicky and distressed with each visit that required an internal examination and her vet suggested that doing this 'chill protocol' might help. The difference in Tasku's behaviour is amazing, she remains fairly calm throughout the appointment, no screaming, no panting or scrabbling - such a relief for me and the vet.
The news is good too, there is no discernible difference in her lump since the previous appointment three months ago.

Week 2 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and Tasku finally got out to the forest for a run with Mary's Tiva. This isn't a good action shot but I had to mark the occasion by including it in her project. When Mary and I spoke on the phone this morning we realised that it was probably last April that we last walked the dogs together, being prevented, first by Tiva's cut pad, then her surgery, and then by Tasku's health issues. When I saw the vet just over a week ago she gave me the go ahead to get Tasku back to having some lead free exercise. As you can tell, Tasku thoroughly approves.

Week 3 in 52 Weeks for Dogs. It's been freezing cold here but it was a beautiful day and we did get quite warm walking - though I think Tasku's paws were probably cold on the ice despite her being a Nordic breed. She was much more wary than Mary's Tiva.

Btw, this is a frozen puddle, not a pond - I'd never risk Tasku going onto a frozen pond.
