Week 46 in 52 Weeks for Dogs

I bought both Taivas and Tasku a poppy tag for remembrance day. This time of year brings many memories of the losses of dear friends and animals but I also got married on the 11th November, 38 years ago.

Week 49 in 52 Weeks for Dogs. I have found it difficult to take photos this week; my right eye still has some vision problems and surgery on my left is due this afternoon. So another last minute shot from me, sorry. I hope that by the beginning of 2017 things will be easier.

The 4.3m (14ft) by 2.7m (9ft) 13 tonne steel anchor has been gifted to the city of Southampton by the Dubai royal family and Cunard.

The anchor is one of a pair that hung on each side of the ship which made its maiden voyage on 2 May 1969 from Southampton to New York.
