Week 16 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and also for Tasku's 12 Months for dogs project. I rarely get the opportunity to take Taivas and Tasku out in the forest together so when I do it's nice to mark the occasion with a photo of them together. We walked from High Corner Inn and did just over three miles, amazingly, we didn't get lost!

Studio 26 triangles in composition - the dogs themselves are the triangles, with a less obvious triangle from the trunk of the background tree on the right. Its branches fanning out also form a triangle. I'm not sure why the composition works or how it could be improved.

Week 10 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and this week it's our late entry for the challenge 'where dogs shouldn't be'. Taivas is on the slide in our local park.
studio 26 triangles in composition. Here there are two triangles formed by the slide diagonally slicing across the frame. I can also see three triangles in Taivas - her head and chest, her body, and back leg. I think it's the diagonal line of the slide which makes the composition work

These little beauties are out and about in the forest.
studio 26 triangles in composition. Obvious triangles here, with the butterfly itself being a perfect triangle, and another triangle formed in the bottom right of frame by the twig's diagonal line. As with the slide shot, I think the diagonal line helps the composition work.

Week 29 in 52 Weeks for Dogs.
This week I've tried a couple of things which haven't worked at all; running out of time I consulted my 'inspiration' list and came up with this one. Taivas and Tasku weren't impressed at having to lie so close together.
studio 26 triangles in composition. Four triangles here, the obvious ones from the dogs' heads, and less obvious, the ones formed from the spaces. I like this composition but can't say why (or even if) it works.

Another shot from the falconry display at our village fete.
studio 26 triangles in composition. The bird imposing into the frame makes a strong triangle, with lesser triangles fromed from the negative space. The diagonal lines make it work - at least, I think so
