The closest I've been to a tiger - what amazingly beautiful animals they are. This was taken from the car using the tele conversion lens. I'm thrilled with the results - hand held shot, through glass. At Longleat Safari Park, Wiltshire, UK. A fabulous day and LOADS of photos!

Taken in the butterfly garden at Longleat, these clearwings are so beautiful, but quite difficult to photograph so they stand out against the background. I have no idea exactly what species it is (other than it being a type of clearwing) so if anyone out there does, please tell me.

A really poor photo I know, it was almost total darkness in the "mine" and I've had to edit this so much just to get it so you can see the bat. It was such an amazing experience to be in with the bats, lots of them swooping in front of my face making a welcome cool breeze. They are incredible creatures and I came out with a huge smile on my face.
