I've done better eye macros of Tasku than this but wanted to take a new shot for the theme. I'm still quite pleased with how this turned out.

It's week 43 of my 52 weeks for dogs project and Taivas is not impressed with my latest idea - hence the title. However she is such a tolerant and willing little dog that she learned this fairly easily. A couple of the outtakes below, they made me laugh!

I'm delighted that this photo has been published in a book to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. The book is 'It's not contagious' and is available to buy at Blurb
all the photographers gave their photos free of charge, hopefully the book will raise lots of cash for this worthy cause.

Week 1 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and Tasku is back in the group after a three year stint in 12 Months for Dogs, while Taivas did another three years in 52. This starts our tenth year of 52 Weeks for dogs; little did I think back in 2009 that we would still be here all these years later.
For those that don't know her, Tasku is my six years young Finnish Lapphund. She is loving and playful, not too bright :o) and still has moments when she lacks confidence, though she has come a very long way since she was a nervous pup.
This week's photo was taken on this morning's forest walk, which began very grey and windy but the sun came out in time for her photo. Lots of puddles to play in after the heavy rain but I chose this portrait for the group.

Desperate for a subject for my October project I picked up this rain soaked upside down leaf when I walked the dogs this evening, and brought it home for a photo shoot.
