Once a year there is a short span of time for these sort of frozen sea front images. Stromy wind had poured water on the rocks during freezing cold weather. Sea had already dropped into subzero temperatures, but hard wind was keeping it open. Seldom have I been shooting in such extreme conditions as this time.
