Another hamlet near Goreme, it is amazing to think that this star wars like landscape has been populated for thousands of years. Çatalhöyük, the oldest city in the world, settled around 7500 BC and inhabited for over 2000 years, is in the same region of Anatolia.

Ortakoy Mosque is situated right on the waterfront at the Ortakoy pier square. It was build around the same time as the Dolmabahçe Palace and the Dolmabahçe Mosque around the mid 1850s.
