On a rainy day, amidst the hurly-burly of downtown Toronto, at a sidewalk cafe on the edge of Graffiti Alley, a man peacefully watches the passing parade on Queen St. W. He is surrounded by graffiti, bicycles, traffic and empty chairs, all part of this part of town.

Graffiti Alley is filled with clever, smart and professional-level graffiti. But it is also an alley is the fullest sense of the word, and it contains much of what we normally discard, abandon or just want to forget.
Here, under a "No Dumping" sign (which itself has been graffitied) one sees a fine and eclectic collection of "dumping".

Two street musicians and one guy who took a real interest in their music; what I love was the contrast between the clothes and shoes on these three guys, and the shop window on the right, with its high-end and very colourful fashions.
