A variation of a recent post. A simple thistle found along the Credit River, Mississauga, ON, Canada.
I used different texture layers this time, all courtesy of Anna Lenabem's textures on her Flickr site. Again, the goal was to turn a very ordinary subject into something a bit more interesting or abstract.
All comment / suggestions most welcomed.
This shot is of something very simple: some dead leaves on a small stalk, along the banks of the Credit River in Mississauga, ON, Canada.
The treatment is multilayered textures, courtesy of Anna Lenabem's generous gifting of her layers. It's an attempt to turn something unnoticeable into something abstract and perhaps a bit unusual.
Your comments and suggestions are appreciated.
Again working on that long-lost look. This was done as a 3-exp. HDR, then worked on with several textures courtesy of Skeletal Mess. Finally, a b/w conversion, with masking used to bring back the red lights.
