Close to home photo - as I spent the day in the house - the tiler was busy all day and it seems as though he's got a couple more days to go, although I'm hoping he's finished before then. That means that my bathroom won't be completed until after the weekend - when I'm away in Germany - so I'm not going to see the finished article until I get back :( It also means I'm not going to have a toilet all this week - perhaps Friday at best....that'll be two weeks without one. Grrr.
Morrisons here I come.

It couldn't really be any other artist today. I first saw him on the Serious Moonlight tour - me and a mate from school snagged a lift down from Stoke as far as Oxford then hitch-hiked the rest of the way to Milton Keynes Bowl - we slept underneath a prefab portaloo as it started raining, but we managed to get in first and get down the front. Next saw Bowie on the Glass Spider Tour at Maine Road, which was very showbiz, but in a weird way. The final time that I saw him was when he played the Outsider Tour in 1995 at the NEC in Birmingham on 20th November - with a certain Steven Patrick Morrissey providing support.

Got up reasonably early to go and see the commemorative Weeping Window installation at Middleport Pottery, just five minutes drive away. I got an opening 10am slot so was able to get pictures from the canal before any visitors were allowed in. It's a quite popular thing in the area - there needs to be a lot more public art locally of this nature, as people are showing that they will support it.
