A shot from the past autumn, a lovely mountain hut at the beginning of the forest before the majestic peaks of the Eastern Alps.
Good night

After a little break, I finally processed something new from my archive. Here, the impressive view of the mount Pelvoux captured during a misty day. I miss Western Alps. Can't wait to return there for some shooting, I don't know, but I have a special connection with these mountains

Flying Over the Misty Mountains

Today, I want to share one of the most incredible sunrises I had the chance to admire in the last years. Last summer it was "greedy" of conditions but luckily autumn it was much more generous. I slept in a bivouac to be able to capture the first lights from a very interesting vantage point, when I woke up I was already excited to see a sea of low clouds dancing around me, the visibility it was pretty low but I was confident to see some golden light coming, suddendly the ski turned of an intense pinkinsh hue but the light was not filtering through so I used my trusted Mavic 3 Mini and thanks to this fantastic tool I was able to capture this breataking scene. The view from above it was literally epic it was like living a scene from a movie. Drone is getting an essential tool into my bad because it gives me many great opportunities that without would be wasted.
Useles to say that this scene reminded me of the incredible introduction of the Desolation of Smaug

Paradise Lost
Finally, after a long break, I could return to the field to shoot my favorite season! As usual, I explored some lesser-known areas far from the tourist routes and I was able to taste one again the bitter-sweet flavor of the wild. It was a full immersion trip with only a few comforts I slept in many bivouacs and enjoyed every single moment of the day in the mountains. The roaring silence and the total absence of human contact made the trip unnaturally long and totally immersive.

Camping in the mountains sometimes is challenging and requires a little bit of effort and preparation, but is possible to admire beautiful dramatic moments between night and day when the moon is able to see the last glow of the sunset.
