Cueva de los Verdes , the Green Caves is a part of a large lava tunnel system in northern Lanzarote. The caves can only be accessed as part of a guided tour every 20 minutes. In the caves artificial but subtle lighting has been added. This view is at the end of the Tour in the upper gallery.
I have taken a shot from this viewpoint for the last 2 years. The first was with the standard wide angle. The second with the same lens but with multiple shots combined for a Vertorama. This year I tried out the fisheye lens. It was surprising that with this view and the lens level and not pointing up or down there is little apparent distortion only the wider field of view,
The picture was taken with a Tripod with a Sony A700 with a Samyang Fisheye lens at 8 mm. 3 raw images 2EV spacing. Opened in Photoshop first and each image noise reduced with Noiseware Pro and saved as tiffs.
This picture was enhanced with HDR processing and Topaz and Photoshop to bring in more detail
Full details of the processing together with before and after images and also the previous 2 images are on my Blog see Edwin Jones Photography Blog
