#53 Taken at Mill Lake, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.
Our first *Lifer* bird for 2019.
Dave and I headed out late yesterday afternoon to see this local rare winter record. The skies were dark with rain, so the light was dismal. The warbler, however, made up for this by being so cooperative.

Another day, another pose...this one uncropped.
The locals informed me that he's so popular that his picture has appeared in the Abbotsford newspaper!

Thank goodness my camera settings were adequate to catch this fellow well perched on a post for a quick snap before he moved on.

#154 Taken at Derby Reach Park, Langley, British Columbia, CA.
A rare capture in my experience. This curious little fellow checked me out while I was snapping pics of the chickadees he was hanging out with. Not a common occurrence for the camera shy Wilson's Warbler.
This could possibly be a female since the western variety are more prone to having some black on the cap than their eastern cousins. But I 'm leaning towards young male.
