My favorite place to day hike, Yosemite. This trip I wore my Hunger Games t-shirt and was a hit with the younger crowd of hikers. Got lots of comments some bad but most good.

This is a close up of Half Dome seen from Olmsted Point overlook on the Tioga Pass road.This is the side of Half Dome that visitors climb to the top by way of the steel cables. If you check out all sizes and click on my original size you can see them climbing up. I shot this at over 9 miles away from the Dome.

Siesta Lake

This is a wonderful small crystal clear lake along Tioga Pass road with trees all around it. The water is mostly calm and makes for some really good reflection type photos. I always stop here when I drive though the park on the Tioga Pass road.
