Taken in 2010 on my epic journey across the Madegan line, some 770 klms of GPS work navigating the dunes of the northern simpson desert.
Following in the footsteps or DR C Madigan who crossed in 1939, among his crew of 11 was of course a Photographer.
This is Madegans camp 21 situated on the Eyre creek on the eastern side of the Simpson, today it is on the organic beef station called Adria Downs, in South western Queensland
