Fort Aalsmeer. Since five years the CRASH '40-'45 museum is using premisses, which I was told is on the UNESCO Heritage list. It saw previous use as a practice area for rescue and firefighting personnel, of which one can see plenty of evidence.

Today the museum also housed a secondhand market for aviation books and assorted goods.

This special day drew quite a crowd; the CRASH '40-'45 museum celebrated today its 25th anniversary as an organisation and its relocation to here 5 years ago.

One can clearly see the construction of the fortifications of Fort Aalsmeer. Rooms are connected by small corridors. The CRASH museum is set up very well in these fortifications.
