Cromford Mill, Derbyshire, UK. Part of the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage site, this was the first modern factory complex in the world, and has a strong claim to be the birthplace of the industrial revolution. It dates to 1771 and is now home to a cafe, shops and a visitor centre.

Z 2x Converter Test with Z400mm 4.5 lens in garden this morning. It looks promising as the image is more than good enough, however it does slow the focus down a little and makes the lens F9 as opposed to F4.5 :-)
