Winter in the desert is full of surprises. On our workshop adventure yesterday, we were gifted with a beautiful fog bow at sunrise. A fogbow is created by the diffraction, reflection, and interference of sunlight in small water droplets present in fog. The result is a circular arc of light, often colorless or with faint colors, similar to a rainbow but formed in foggy conditions.
