According to the Wikipedia, Pérez has one star tattoo on each hand, representing his mother and his son. His mother's name is tattooed on his right wrist.

Perez is originally from Puerto Rico. The Indians will play the Minnesota Twins in a two game series at the historic Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan Puerto Rico this weekend, April 17/18. The Stadium is on the U. S. National Register of Historical Places and was named after the first Puerto Rican drafted into MLB. Today the Indians and Twins have several players from Puerto Rico on their respective teams.
