In a daring move, city planners relocate the top half of the space needle to the roof of Pagliacci Pizza. A fitting tribute to the old Van de Camp Bakery windmill (and perfect way to free prime building space for a much needed 120 story condominium).

I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds with a little satire, since I'm not a resident of Seattle. But there you go.

Originally the Society Theatre 1909; renamed the Broadway Theatre in 1921. Marquee is ca. 1948. Different now, but at least they preserved it in some way, and actually added more neon.
