Frodo and Salty.

Frodo is possibly our most well balanced dog. He listens very well under all circumstances, never fights, has the most beautiful coat and luxuriant tail, a strong work ethic, is very social - a big lover; as comfortable on the couch as on the trail. He's so well balanced, I think it must be something about the ears :-)

Salty on the other hand, she's a real piece of work, but we love her just the same. As far as sledding qualities, she is our most consistent puller, highly motivated, 110%. She has a lot of the other Frodo qualities, the main difference and sometimes problem is she thinks very highly of herself. Maybe she runs so well in wheel because she's always trying to get a piece of her sisters up ahead of her.

Today we celebrated birthdays. Toaster's third litter of pups turned 13 years old today. From left to right - Salty, Ruby, Frodo and Cholie. We still call them "the pups." All but Cholie are still actively running in our team and nearing their retirement. Such good, sweet and hard working dogs. Each very much an individual with a unique personality. We love them.
